During your 3-night Sahara camel trek in Merzouga, you will have the opportunity to explore many interesting sights around the Erg Chebbi Sahara desert, including sunsets, sunrises, and sandboarding.
You will visit an oasis in the heart of the desert, meet locals, spend nights in the camp, visit nomad families, and spend a night with them to learn about their way of life.
We start our 3-night Merzouga camel ride journey near the dunes, where our camel caravan waits for us. We will take you across the dunes to a high dune to watch the sunset and try sandboarding.
As dusk falls, we will continue our camel excursion to the camp (your preferred camp type), where we will spend the night and enjoy a warm drum party around the fire with the locals after your wonderful dinner.
On the second day of our 3-night camel trek in Morocco, it is worth watching the sunrise from the nearest dune to the camp. Your wonderful breakfast will be ready, and afterward, we will continue our excursion to the nomad families, where we will spend the second night.
We will take a break for lunch on the way, under the shade of a tree, and then continue to the nomads to spend the night with them, sharing time and learning about their life.
After breakfast, we will head to the next destination, an oasis located in the heart of the Sahara desert of Erg Chebbi. We will prepare a Berber pizza, followed by lunch, and spend the day under the shade of the palm trees.
In the afternoon, we will have a short camel ride to reach a high dune to watch the sunset and enjoy sandboarding. After the sunset, we head back to the camp to spend the third night.
After breakfast, we will travel back to the village. Here, you will have two options: either continue by camel or take a 4WD car as an alternative. We mark the end of our 3-night camping in the Sahara desert camel excursion journey, leaving you with plenty of memories.
