It was my first time visiting Morocco, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The team from Best Tours In Morocco was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our journey. I traveled with my mother, who was physically weak and tired from all the travel, but thanks to the support of our amazing guide, Said, we were able to enjoy the sunrise together in the middle of the desert, something truly special for both of us.
Out of all the memories from this trip, the sunrise in Merzouga and the peaceful desert experience are the ones that stayed with me the most. We stayed at Kasbah Mohayut, right near the dunes, and early the next morning, around 7 a.m., the team picked us up with camels for the sunrise tour.
There were about 14 of us in the group, and each person was helped gently onto a camel as we moved in a calm line through the quiet desert. Said guided us to a beautiful spot to watch the sunrise. The desert sand was smoother than I had imagined, and I was completely captivated by the colors in the sky, the soft blend of dawn and sunlight over the dunes was breathtaking.
If you're planning a trip to Morocco, I truly recommend a desert tour in Merzouga with Best Tours In Morocco and their guide, Said. It was a beautiful, stress-free experience and one I’ll never forget.
I reached out to Best Tour In Morocco team to get some details and ideas for our trip, and they were incredibly clear and helpful. They arranged transportation with a driver who also shared so much with us about Moroccan and Berber culture. When we arrived in the village of Hassilabied, we got to relax at the Hotel, using the bathrooms and the swimming pool, all included in the price.
Our stay in the desert was absolutely magical. We crossed the dunes by camel with our guide Hassan, tried sandboarding, and watched a breathtaking sunset. In the evening, we had dinner in a tent with other travelers, followed by Berber drum music and dancing.
I LOVED the peace and calm of the desert, and the Moroccan food was a highlight, especially the tajine and fresh Moroccan salad. We also had a blast riding quads across the dunes, what an experience! Bottom line: the team took care of everything. No stress at all. I would definitely choose them again!
