Itinerary of Overnight Camel Trek Merzouga
Day 1: Hotel ⇢ Camel Ride ⇢ Sunset ⇢ Desert Camp.
We start our camel ride and glamping camping in the Sahara desert around 5/6:00 PM from your hotel taking you on a 4WD car to where our camels await us, ride your camel and travel through the desert while enjoying the beauty of the desert. Reach the heart of the desert and take sandboards to have fun, enjoying the sunset.
The sun goes down, and you continue to the camp where you will be welcomed with Berber tea. You will be shown to your private tent, relax, and Be prepared for a drum party after dinner. Our team will set a fire, you sit around enjoying the traditional Berber songs and experiencing the conventional instruments with locals.
Day 2: Bivouac Desert Camp ⇢ Camel Ride ⇢ Hotel.
It is worth waking up early to watch the magic of the sunrise by climbing the nearest dune to your camp for a panoramic view of the dunes and their colors. Afterward, when you come back down, your healthy lunch will be ready. Then, you will ride your camels and go through the dunes to the next destination: an oasis in the heart of the Sahara desert.
You arrive at the Oasis, prepare a Berber pizza with tea followed by a healthful lunch, and take a nap under the shade of the palm trees in this peaceful Oasis. In the afternoon, you will ride your camel back to our camp, where you will spend the second night, with sunset on the way back. Enjoy playing the drums with the locals after dinner, and spend the night under the starry sky.
