fes ➙ Cedar Forest ➙ Ziz Valley➙ Merzouga Desert Camp

Your journey to the Sahara desert of Merzouga begins as we pick up you from your accommodation in Fes, to visit  Ifrane, the Switzerland of Morocco. The next destination is Azrou where you will get the chance to see Barbary Apes on the Cedar Forest of Azrou, then we will drive over the Middle Atlas Mountains to Midelt.

Midelt is also called (the capital apple of Morocco) here we will have our tasty lunch, and then we will go over the Tizi N Talghamt, which means (the camel pass) in the Tamazight language. Travel along the Ziz Valley, an Oasis full of palm trees, over 700,000 palm trees, and plenty of traditional Berber villages. We will make several stops along the way.

As we arrive at Merzouga in the afternoon, we will find our camels waiting for us, taking you through the Sahara desert of Erg Chebbi to your desert camp. Once you arrive at the nearest high dune, get ready to watch a magical sunset. Experience sandboarding and continue to the camp. Reach the camp, get your private tent to relax, and take a shower.

Get ready for the party after a delicious dinner, our team will light the fire and you sit around, listening and enjoying some traditional Berber songs while dancing around the fire. You will have the opportunity to play traditional instruments with the locals.

Merzouga desert camp ➙ Rissani ➙ Fes

Waking up early to see the sunrise is highly recommended! At the nearest dune to the camp, after a tasty breakfast, we will take a 4X4 car to get to the village. From here we will visit Rissani where you will get the opportunity to explore the traditional Morrocan market if the day is one of these days (Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday) when the market is open.

From Rissani we will travel back via Erfoud and Ziz Valley again along the way, and we mark the end of our Fes to Merzouga desert tour 2 days as we arrive at Fes in the late evening and drop you off at your accommodation.
