Marrakech ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou ⇢ Dades Valley.
To start our 3-day Marrakech desert tour, we will pick you up from your accommodation around 8:00 and head towards Boumalne Dades. The journey takes us through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains and Tizi N’Tichka Pass, which is Morocco’s highest pass at about 2,260 meters, offering panoramic views and including stops to see the Berber villages.
Our next stop will be the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an old fortified village where many films were shot, such as Lawrence of Arabia (1962), The Mummy (1999), Gladiator (2000), Game of Thrones (2011-2019), and many more. Here, we will have enough time to explore the Kasbah. Ait Ben Haddou was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987.
Our desert trip continues to Ouarzazate with a lunch break along the way. We’ll visit the Taourirt Kasbah, Skoura, and the Roses Valley. In the afternoon, we drive to Dades Valley. If we have enough time upon arrival, we will guide you to some rock formations commonly called Monkey Fingers.
Dinner and overnight stay in a local riad in your chosen room type.

Dades Valley ⇢ Todra Canyon ⇢ Erfoud ⇢ Merzouga Desert.
Today, we continue our 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Merzouga after a tasty breakfast at your riad. We’ll drive via Tinghir with a stop at a scenic viewpoint overlooking traditional Berber villages and visit Todgha Gorge, where the canyon walls rise 300 meters high. We’ll then continue through Tinejdad and Erfoud, the gateway to the Merzouga desert.
As we reach the Sahara, you will meet your camel guide and head across the dunes to watch the sunset and experience sandboarding. Continue your camel trek to the camp, where you’ll have time to relax, followed by a hearty dinner. Later, sit around the campfire with locals playing drums. Overnight at the camp.

Merzouga Desert ⇢ Agdz ⇢ Ouarzazate ⇢ Marrakech.
On the second day of your 2 Days tour Marrakech to Merzouga, wake up early to see the sunrise on top of the nearest dune to the camp. After breakfast in the desert, we go back to the village either by camels or 4WD car as an alternative to camels, then get ready for your journey.
Drive over the Berber villages of the Atlas Mountains, Nkoub, and Agdz. With several stops, including a lunch break. And a visit to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, then drive to Marrakech through the Tizi N Ticka, arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon.

A turban is recommended during the summer months, especially since sandstorms often occur in summer.
In Merzouga, your luggage will be transported to the camp by our private 4WD car.
On day two, we may arrive in the desert by early afternoon, depending on the season. If you wish, you can try quad biking or a buggy ride before joining a camel trek to your desert camp.

Yes, for those who don’t want to ride camels, we use our desert camp 4WD car to take them to and from the camp, all at no cost. You need to let us know during the booking process.
The vehicle depends on the group size. We use Toyota Prado TX, van Renault, Ford vans, Mercedes vans (8-seaters), and minibusses.
The distance in this 3-day Marrakech tour via the Sahara desert is 558 kilometers from Marrakech to Merzouga.
To confirm your reservation, a small deposit is required, payable via PayPal or bank transfer. The remaining balance can be paid in cash (euros, dollars, or dirhams) to your guide on the first day of your tour.
