Journey across the High Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N’Tichka Pass, the highest pass in Morocco, reaching an elevation of 2,260 meters (7,415 feet) above sea level. The pass offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys, along with encounters with traditional Berber villages along the way, giving you a taste of local culture.
We will visit the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. This fortified village has been featured in many movies and TV series, including Lawrence of Arabia (1962), The Mummy (1999), Gladiator (2000), and Game of Thrones (2011-2019). We will then continue through Dades Gorges, Tinghir, Tinejdad, and Erfoud.
As we reach the Sahara, you’ll begin a camel ride deep into the heart of the dunes. Upon reaching a high dune, dismount and climb to the top for a breathtaking sunset view.
As dusk falls, continue to the camp across the peaceful dunes. The team will show you to your tent, where you can shower and relax, followed by a hearty dinner and traditional Berber songs around the campfire with the locals.
Today, it’s worth waking up early to watch the sunrise. After breakfast, you’ll take a 4WD car to the main meeting point to meet your driver. From here, the journey toward Fes begins. We’ll travel along the scenic Ziz Valley, stopping for a panoramic view of an oasis filled with palm trees.
Continuing our expedition, we’ll stop to see Barbary monkeys in the Azrou Cedar Forest near Ifrane. We’ll mark the end of our 2-Day Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fes upon arrival in Fes in the late afternoon, where you’ll be transferred to your accommodation.

Yes, for those who don’t want to ride camels, we use our desert camp 4WD car to take them to and from the camp, all at no cost. You need to let us know during the booking process.
We use different cars depending on how many people are in the group. We offer a variety of options, including Toyota Prado TX, Renault vans, Ford vans, and Mercedes vans (8-seater), all equipped with air conditioning. This ensures a comfortable journey, whether you’re on a private or shared tour.
This 2-day tour covers the distance from Marrakech to Fes via the Sahara desert, which is 560 kilometers from Marrakech to Merzouga. And 470 kilometers from Merzouga to Fes.
