Our 2-day Marrakech to Zagora desert tour starts from your accommodation in Marrakech in the early morning, around 7:30. The journey takes us through the Tizi n’Tichka pass, where you will be amazed by rugged mountain peaks and traditional Berber villages, with stops for panoramic views and photo opportunities.
We will continue our adventure to the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has appeared in several films, including Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, Gladiator, Game of Thrones, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and many more.
The road leads us towards Ouarzazate through the Anti-Atlas Mountains, with a lunch break, and then through the Draa Valley, known for its vast palm groves and being the longest river in Morocco.
Finally, in the late afternoon, we arrive in Zagora, a rocky desert region. You will hop on your camel caravan through the rocky desert to watch a spectacular sunset, ending your day at the camp with an overnight stay, a tasty dinner, and traditional Berber songs around the campfire under the starry sky.
On the second day of the 2-Day Zagora Desert Tour from Marrakech, after a camel trek at sunrise and a tasty breakfast at the camp, our voyage leads us to Ouarzazate, frequently referred to as the Hollywood of Africa. We will visit Taourirt Kasbah and Atlas Studios, where plenty of movies were filmed, like The Passion of the Christ, The Hills Have Eyes, and many more.
Our expedition guides us back to Marrakech with a lunch break on the way. We drive through the High Atlas Mountains and arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon. This marks the end of our unforgettable 2-day desert trip from Marrakech with lots of memories.

Yes, for those who don’t want to ride camels, we use our desert camp 4WD car to take them to and from the camp, all at no cost. You need to let us know during the booking process.
We use different cars depending on how many people are in the group. We offer a variety of options, including Toyota Prado TX, Renault vans, Ford vans, and Mercedes vans (8-seater), all equipped with air conditioning. This ensures a comfortable journey, whether you’re on a private or shared tour.
To confirm your reservation, a small deposit is required, payable via PayPal or bank transfer. The remaining balance can be paid in cash (euros, dollars, or dirhams) to your guide on the first day of your tour.
