Merzouga 4x4 Desert Tour

You can start and end this Desert 4×4 tour around Merzouga dunes anywhere in the area, camp, hotel, or riad. We will be visiting the seasonal lake of Merzouga, which is Dayet Srij it’s one of the best places around the area, where you can spot some desert birds, it attracts flocks of flamingos.

The Merzouga 4×4 sahara desert tour includes a visit to Khamlia village, here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to listen to Gnawas traditional music (optional) have some mint tea with them, (Tip is required) otherwise, we skip the Khamlia visit.

Next, we head to the historical site of Mefes, it’s very old, it has mines of galena. Then head to the desert. Enjoy the stunning desert landscape, next visit is the nomad families, here we will have some time to stop at some traditional nomad tents.
